Hi, I'm new to this site. I come from the Hispanic Branch of the Foundation. I wanted to know if there is something like a prohibited section in the library or specific books that should not be read unless the person doing it wants to suffer a great torment or something like that. It's for an idea I have for a story.

As far as I know nobody's written about it yet, but that doesn't mean you can't. We're very loose on canon, same as the SCP site, and part of the fun is seeing people's different and often conflicting interpretations of what the Library might contain. Go for it.

I think the Library would have books considered 'forbidden' from where they were written, but there's technically none so far as I can tell that one cannot take out. I could go in and borrow the Necronomicon for example.
