the book contains stories of a man who people call the red eyed stranger who goes wherever he pleases and helps people along the way all the stories are written from the perspective of both the red eyed stranger and the people who have had the chance of meeting him

It could work as a single story but not an entire book. I'm going to recommend that you stop trying to make a whole book, and just focus on creating entries for existing ones. There isn't exactly a great demand for new books.

Gonna second what Roget said, the current books pretty much cover most of the entries you could write. Also, the book idea doesn't sound all that fascinating, but as an entry, if done correctly and you get feedback from chat and the like, then I could see it being good.

If this idea developed in such a way as to generate multiple stories, in multiple styles with conflicting points of view on this 'red-eyed stranger' I'd say that it would be a a book candidate. As it stands currently, however, it doesn't have enough substance to warrant it's own book. You'll need to write a whole bunch of stuff, and possibly invite other authors to write too in order to get this to be come a thing.

I agree I was kinda thinking about more than one story but i suppose it could work as just one story and not multiple

There's no reason you couldn't write more than one story. Just start with one, and then see where it goes. Two of my stories currently on the site are written as stand-alone tales, but are secretly parts of larger story arcs, which I may or may not ever get around to writing.

OH COME ONE JACK! NOW I HAVE TO READ /EVERYTHING/ YOU WRITE AND TRY TO DISSECT A LARGER PLOT LINE! THANKS A LOT! (Actually, I love overarching plot lines and I do need to go see which of those two tales it is.)

@TheCr3ator: Which is exactly what I was trying to suggest. Write some short pieces and see where it goes.

@Jack: I suspect all of the work on the site is yours and is all secretly part of the same plot. :P
