My idea was for a page or pages from a book detailing the preparation of food stuffs using items and meats from a source considered magical or ethereal. Before posting any thing here I wanted to ask first if I needed to create a sandbox here and post in production works with in before asking for advice and suggestion in this forum. I see some threads do and others don't, though. Is there a preferred etiquette?

If you have a draft, pop it up in a sandbox and show us. There really isn't an etiquette to it, we can assist either way.

Also, you should come into chat. It's much faster than the forums for getting feedback, and there are more people who check it.
