This is a duo tale, involving an associate of the Serpent’s Hand and a researcher of the Foundation, also known as the Jailers.
It’s best to read both sides of the tale, as they’re intended to fill in each other’s blanks. It’s up to the reader which perspective they are more inclined to favor.
