too many marbles
rattling around an empty skull,
pushed and pulling
all the time,
time to eat
or be eaten to the bone,
bone— skulls again,
where gears are turning
all the time,
time to work,
pistons working
all the time,
time to sleep, I think,
but I'll never blink again
with eyes set deep in my
empty skull,
skull— skulls again,
filled with all the sleep I'm losing,
losing—
losing my marbles
