Poem found on a crumpled notecard

I found this poem on a crumpled notecard on the bench of a train station.

Underneath the old cherry tree
That's where my love will be
He'll be waiting
There for me
Alone, my heart for company

The sun sinks down below the sky
Cold air, two souls as one
Pass by, two lovers, spirits high
Embrace, without the sun
Without a care for anyone

For now I hope
Pray each day
The night will bring you back to stay
With me, for one more day
I only wish you'd find the way
